Chris and Sarah Smith welcome you to Highgate luxury holiday cottages and accommodation set in Newtown, Mid Wales. Lying east of the Cambrian Mountains in the old county of Montgomeryshire, it is three miles from Newtown on the Tregynon road.

Our luxury holiday cottages in Wales are located close to the source of River Severn where the area is rich in stunning landscape and is one of the most beautiful parts of Wales. This is land steeped in history and culture, a place where time has stood still. Here you will escape the crowds and be able to recharge your batteries.

In addition to the holiday cottages, we offer excellent camping facilities on our new Greenfield camping site. These include WC, hot / cold running water and showers. The campsite is perfect for a couple's weekend away or family break and an ideal choice if you'd like to get a little closer to the beautiful surrounding countryside.

If you'd prefer bed and breakfast accommodation in Wales, we also offer rooms in our magnificent 17th century listed building. Newtown, three miles away, is most attractive, with its street market on Tuesdays; there is a swimming pool, sports centre and lively theatre, plus fishing and golf.

Among the other small market towns nearby are Welshpool, Montgomery and Llanidloes, with their castles, gardens, galleries and quiet shops.
